Who We Are

BELIEVE..BELONG..BECOME

We want everyone to believe in Christ as their Savior, to cross the line from death to life. When we place faith in Christ, we become God's child and nothing can separate us from His Love. (Romans 8:31-39) The Holy Spirit lives in us and we have power to say "no" to sin, power to endure any circumstance, and power to love difficult people. Because we live to God's Glory the smallest details take on new meaning. We live life with a purpose, and we experience a quality of life we've never known before.

We want you to belong to a body of people who accept you. You use your gifts and talents and give ministry. You receive ministry. Relationships are born. The relationships aren't just "surface" because the ties that unite you are the deeper things of God.

It's our earnest desire that you grow or become all God wants you to be. We "become" as we hear, study, live, and share the Truth of God's Word. We "grow" as we worship God, become part of small groups, interact with other Christians, and go deeper into His Word. Changes take place. You're not the same person. You will notice the growth. You may say: "A year ago I never could have handled this. Now I can." "Six months ago, I never would have seen purpose in this." You will begin to impact the world where God's placed you like never before.

Believe..Belong..Become. It's what God wants and what we want for you.

(Senior Pastor)
The Raspers Pastor Dennis has a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He has been a pastor for 43 years. His wife Cheryl retired from Bi-County Hospital in Warren, having been a critical care nurse for 26 years. They have been married for 44 years. Cheryl has a beautiful voice and chooses the Praise music. Pastor's gift is communicating the word of God. He loves to study it, interpret it, and make it relevant to people's lives.
Pastor and Cheryl both say one of their greatest gifts is that their three children all found Christian spouses, Chris and Heather, Darryl and Elizabeth, and Laurel and Rick have given them eleven precious grandchildren. They spend a lot of time in the toy departments at Meijer, K-Mart, Target, and Wal-Mart. They changed lots of diapers, pushed a lot of swings, go for lots of walks, and tell many stories.

Pastor and Cheryl love to be around the people that God sends to Mountaintop. Their heart is to take people to higher and higher levels of Christian maturity so that these people can impact the world God has placed them in, and they can really be all that God wants them to be.

(Youth Leader)
jason The Lord has given me a passion to reach out to teens and share the Love of Jesus with them.  I have been serving in youth ministry for eight years and my desire is to see the youth sharing their faith with their friends, family, and anyone they meet.  My goal is to let teens know that living for the Lord isn't a boring life and I want to make going to church a fun experience for them and their friends.
