Care

Simply stated, the Mountaintop Care Ministry Is about caring for one another; first, within our household of faith (Mountaintop Church) and second, reaching out beyond the local church into the community, if and when we can.

The Care Ministry gets it's direction from principles Jesus set forth, in particular:

  • "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
    Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
  • "If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us."
    1 John 4:12 (NKJ)
  • "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
    1 John 3:17-18 (NIV)
With this in mind, our objectives are:

  • To minister to shut-ins first and foremost through prayer then through active visitation whether it be hospital visits, home visits, or nursing home visits.
  • To minister through sending greeting cards.
  • To offer any assistance in areas such as help with meals, transportation, or household chores.
  • To be available to any of our church family at the time of the loss of a loved one, however necessary.
  • To assist, in conjunction with our church elders, any of our church family's monetary needs if and when it is brought to our attention.
  • To be available with a sensitive, caring heart at all times in regarding the needs of others.

Should you have a need, we would be blessed to be a blessing to you.

Respectfully
